Back from Phnom Penh

What an incredibly mindful week in Phnom Penh. Working with the founder of The Well.World from Cincinnati, Ohio is always a journey. We spent time learning about stress ad trauma relief techniques and so many things about ourself. The True Body Project is not about your physical self but about the you inside of you. It is a journey about discovering self. What triggers you, your emotions and most important what you can do for yourself to release feelings of stress and trauma. I highly recommend coming in 2024 for the next cross cultural session.

OHHHHH… Phnom Penh. What a sprawling city you have become. I honestly believe if you don’t feel like you’re going to die in a Tuk Tuk at least once a day, you are not fully experiencing PP or Cambodia for that matter. But, it was so nice to be in a different atmosphere and I realized that my life in Siem Reap is very chill and easy hard. One of the best parts of the trip, I actually worked on a Reformer not once but twice! It reminded me how important the Pilates Mat work is. It is the foundation of Joseph Pilates work and the base for finding the deep Pilates connections. When you think any discipline, be it art, dance or music there is always a foundation to the process. I have fallen in love with the Pilates Mat work all over again but, admit I sure miss a Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Spine Corrector!
